Organization Details

Eligibility Criteria for PAF GD Pilot Career

To apply for a career as a PAF GD Pilot, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in one of the following:
     • BS in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
     • BS with a background in FSc, ICS, A Level, or International Baccalaureate with Physics as a major subject, or degrees in Computer Sciences, IT, AI, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or English.
     • BE or BS in any engineering discipline or an equivalent degree.
     • MBBS, BDS, or equivalent degree holders.
2. Nationality:
   • Only male Pakistani citizens are eligible to apply.
3. Age:
   • Candidates should be between 21 to 23 years old as of April 25, 2025.
4. Height:
   • A minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) is required for male applicants.
5. Marital Status:
   • Only unmarried candidates can apply.
6. Vision:

• • Applicants must have 6/6 vision in each eye without the use of glasses.

Required Documents for PAF GD Pilot Application

1. Educational certificates (Matriculation, Intermediate, Bachelor’s degree)
2. Copy of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
3. Domicile certificate
4. Recent passport-sized photographs
5. Medical fitness certificate
6. Completed application form
7. Character certificates from educational institutions or relevant authorities.

Selection Procedure

1. Applicants must first register following the how-to-apply procedure outlined above.
2. After completing the registration, candidates will need to pass an Intelligence Test, followed by an Academic Test conducted through e-testing.
3. Those who qualify in the Intelligence Test will proceed to an Initial Medical Examination and Interview at the I&S Center.
4. Successful candidates will then compete in the Initial Physical Test, which includes the following tasks: 1 Mile Running Test in 8 minutes, 15 Push-ups in 2 minutes, 20 Sit-ups in 2 minutes and 3 Chin-ups in 2 minutes
5. Only shortlisted candidates from the Physical Test will be invited to the ISSB. The ISSB Test and Interview will take place at Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir, or Quetta.
6. The final Medical Examination will be conducted at CMB Rawalpindi, and the Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) will take place at I&SC Rawalpindi. The final selection will be made by the Air Headquarters based on merit.

How to Apply for PAF GD Pilot Job?

1. Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria should apply online at www.joinpaf.gov.pk or through the web link provided on this page.
2. For those without internet access, registration can be completed in person at the nearest PAF Information & Selection Centers located in major cities across Pakistan.
3. Online registration will be open from September 27 to October 06, 2024.
4. Please note that no travel or other allowances will be provided for the selection process.
